Nightgown, shoes and cushions are simply a couple of props required for these exciting evening gatherings.
This Party for Kids between ages 4-14.

Fabulous Fashions
Whether you dress up in designer clothes or model the latest sleepwear, make a fashion statement at a Fabulous Fashions slumber party!
Invitations Cards
Buy paper dolls or make some out of stiff poster board.
Photocopy pictures of all the kids.
Cut out the heads and glue them onto the heads of the dolls.
Draw plain white pyjamas or nightgowns for the paper dolls, photocopy them and cut them out, leaving tabs to secure to the dolls.
Write party details on the back of each doll and ask guests to decorate the paper pyjamas and bring them to the party.
At the party, award prizes for the paper pyjamas, such as Most Colourful, Strangest, Funniest, Most Creative and so on.

Make Prizes and Party Bags
Fashion accessories, such as scrunchies, scarves, hair ribbons, hats, socks and so on
Small personalised mirrors
Fashion magazines

Glove Cakes
Make cakes with white sponge and favourite fillings.
Cut into glove shapes using a cookie cutter or sharp knife.
Attach lollies to sponge fingers. If you like, make cuffs from whipped cream.
Costumes
Ask each guest to bring a favourite fancy outfit, pyjamas, robe, slippers and any accessories that might be fun to share and wear, such as hats, shoes, costume jewellery and so on.
The guests will also need form-fitting attire (tights, bike shorts or tank tops).

Sleepover Parties Decorations
Drape one wall of the party room with sheets. Hang another set of sheets from the ceiling or a rope to create a curtain, leaving an opening for the models to walk through.
Create a stage and runway using long lengths of red or white fabric, or several sheets of plywood.
Collect lights from around the house—lamps, torches and so on—and set them up in the party room to spotlight the runway and stage.
Set the table with makeup and a small mirror at each place and make a centrepiece using fashion accessories.
Play disco music while guests model their outfits.

Sleepover Parties Games Idea

1.Pair up the guests, then have them sit in a circle. Set out a large selection of dress-up clothes, including dresses, hats, tops, skirts, shawls, scarves, jewellery, socks and shoes. Select a pair of players and blindfold one of them. The blindfolded player is the Designer; the other is the Model. To make dressing the Model easier, the Model should wear tights and a tank top or other form-fitting attire. At the word ‘Go!’ the Designer has three minutes to select from the clothing pile and dress the model from head to foot—without looking! The Model can only stand still and cannot help the Designer with the dressing. When time is up, remove the blindfold and view the Model s new look! Take a picture, then repeat with other pairs.

2.Collect a few dozen scarves, buy some from a local second-hand shop, or make your own from silky fabric cut into lengths. Pile the scarves in the centre of the room. At the word ‘Go!’ the players may take one scarf at a time and design an outfit for themselves. They have five minutes to create their outfits. The player with the most complete outfit wins a prize. The rest win prizes for Funniest, Weirdest and so on.

3.At a second-hand shop, buy a variety of mismatched clothes and accessories, such as hats, shoes, wraps, tops, skirts, pants, jackets, wigs, jewellery and so on. Or raid your own wardrobes and borrow from friends and family. Have the Designers mix and match items to make unique fashion statements. Put on a fashion show bv modelling the outfits on the stage and runway. Take turns playing Announcer anddescribing the outfits for the audience, for example: ‘Leah is wearing a lovely sequined halter top with a square-dance skirt and combat boots

4.Assemble an ample supply of tissue paper, crepe paper and toilet paper in a variety of colours and set the supplies in the middle of the party room along with tape and staplers. Or use fabric remnants instead of paper products. Pair up the guests and choose a Designer and Model in each pair. Have the Designers use the provided materials to create fashions on the Models. When everyone finishes, have the Models model the creations for everyone. Switch roles and repeat so everyone gets a chance to be a Designer and a Model.

5.Buy a pair of cute socks for each guest and tuck a small gift into each pair. Hide the socks with the gifts in them throughout the room. Give each of the guests one of the remaining socks and tell them that the matching socks have surprises inside. Then set them hunting!

6.Have everyone stand in a circle. Choose someone to be the Dancer and have that person stand in the centre. Then start the music. The Dancer must make up a dance for everyone to imitate. Change the music and the Dancer, until everyone has made up a dance.
